DVD's Out by Christmas

Anything good coming out in the next couple of months dvd wise?

I know I'm going to be getting Shrek 2 when it's released next week. Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban is scheduled to be released 11/23.

I was surprised to see a few movies listed that seem like they opened in theaters not that long ago, such as The Princess Diaries 2 and The Bourne Supremacy.

I was just going to ask if anyone knew when Elf was coming out. I missed it last year and heard it was funny. I love Christmas type movies!

According to Bestbuy.com, Princess Diaries 2 will be out in December and so will Arthur (between the 21-27). That 70s Show season one I think may have came out already, if not it will be soon.

FYI--You can get a free Shrek 2 if you take a KIA for a test drive. When is Spiderman 2 due to be released?

Seinfeld!!! The biggest DVD event of all time! Seasons 1/2 and 3 on November 23rd.

I kept mentioning that to my DH saying I got to get over there and do that and he said an interesting thing to me. He said "time is money".

In other words, if it takes say an hour in all to get there, listen to their spiel, drive the car, listen some more and then go home is it really saving much over buying it at a store for $15.99?

I thought it was a good point, so I'll just be picking mine up when I'm out shopping.

Can someone tell me how the new release of LOTR trilogy will be different from the one that is out? I am planning on buying it for the boys, but I want a good set!

Harry Potter and the POA is on our list! We are so excited about that one!

Tinks....It really depends on how much you enjoy the trilogy...I have really enjoyed the extended version as Peter Jackson has included the scenes he shot but couldn't include in the theatrical version due to time constraints. I really enjoyed the movie and so I have collected both versions of them.


I don't think you would go wrong with either version.

The extended edition will add a full 50 minutes of footage that was not in the original. It will also have more special features.
