DVD players at VWL?

I just did a search of this board and as of 10/21, last report was the VCRs in the 1 bedrooms at VWL had not been replaced with DVD players. Could someone who has been recently please post on the status? We're going to VWL for NYE and are wondering whether to take some DVDs for the trip.
