Why can't I remember this....?

.
We were at BCV last Christmas in a studio and did not have a player so I requested one and they did bring it to me, but there was no way to switch to the AV channel we needed. The TV remote was a generic remote with 5 buttons on it and there was not a way to switch the TV to the right signal.
Believe me, Dh and my 2 boys can hook up a PS2 to any TV in 10 seconds, but it just was not happening in this studio.![]()
So the TV's may need to be switched out of some villas before they can put in a DVD.
We just returned from the BCV this past Saturday. Our studio (room 128) did not have a DVD player and, boy, were we disappointed. My grandson had a new movie he wanted to watch. It never occurred to me to call and ask for one, but from what you all say, it probably wouldn't have worked, anyway.
By the way . . . If anyone's still keeping track, room 128 is handicap accessible. I thought about asking to switch out, but after considering the location (right off the BCV lobby) and the view (first floor, quiet pool) we stayed where we were and loved it! Well, we loved everything except the roll-in shower and the lack of counter space.
They really should have designed the handicap-accessible studios with more thought. Those who need them need counter space, too. They shouldn't have to settle for less.
And, that's my 2 cents for the day.
We had that very same room in May as part of a 2BR lockoff and there was a DVD player in it then.![]()
