DVD member card for college son

Now that our son is in college and travel with friends, can I get him a dvc member card of his own? He stays on points when they go to wdw. I want him to be able to take advantage of the perks and discounts with our dvc membership. He still lives with us when he isn't at college so I would think getting him a card shouldn't be a problem . What do ya'll think?

If he is not on the deed, I don't think you can get him a card.

Is his name on the deed? In order to have a membership card in their own name, the bearer themselves have to be an owner.

Only actual owners get Membership cards not all family members.

Can you add your adult kids to the deed?

I would caution about adding someone to the deed, as it does become an asset. If he gets any college aid, this is an issue.
