DVC's that might have been

We have discussed some of this before, but I thought it might be fun to resurrect it for our newer members. Here is an interesting review of what might have been with DVC early development plans that ended. These are in addition to the announced Newport Beach DVC that ended as a Marriott and the Marriott at DL Paris where one might have expected DVC to build. There is also quite a bit of material on the Hawaii project underway. Werner Weiss does a really nice job organizing this.

Werner does a great job. His info on the old original Disney resort plans is wonderful as well. It is sad to think that the slow sales at VB & HH cost us at least 3 resorts and more likely 6-8 non WDW options.

Thank you, that was interesting. I am going to the Marriott near Disneyland Paris in a few days' time and had no idea it might have been a Disney resort.

I wish they went ahead with DVC past POR instead of selling to Four Seasons Additional offsites would have been nice too. I'm curious to see what does ( or doesn't ) happen at National Harbor site.
