DVCNews September 2024 sales information

I think only worth it if they split the contract and not kept it as a 1000 pointer, unless they are 100% certain they are keeping until the end. But who has that kind of certainty.
We met a couple from MA last week at EPCOT. They have been DVC since the late 1990's too. Recently, they bought 1000 OKW points on a Disney Cruise! He said he paid $110 PP and got a 20K check back so net $90. Wowza!
 
I did a second pass on the deeds for October. I had 4-6 mistakes. Here are my final numbers for October PVB.

565 deeds with 73,527 points. (Slightly less than when I first posted). That's an average of 130.14 points per deed.

  • 1 1BR SV
  • 6 Studio TPV
  • 18 Studio SV
  • 39 Studio SV
  • 42 Studio SV
  • 49 Studio SV
  • 50 1BR TPV
  • 50 Studio SV
  • 52 Studio TPV
 
Not sure if this is the right thread, but does anyone have projections on when Riviera might sell out? It has to be close right?
 

November 1-5 are proofed by the comptroller. Including some dates that they will proof (and then I will compare and update the totals below).

Here's my data for the start of November:
  • 11/1 - 47 deeds for 6,815 points
  • 11/4 - 43 deeds for 6,227 points. FW #49 tower studio SV.
  • 11/5 - 40 deeds for 5,472 points.
  • 11/6 - 16 deeds for 2,321 points. (County Proofed the deeds on 11/12 and I verified my numbers 11/13).
  • 11/7 - 22 deeds for 2,805 points. (County Proofed the deeds on 11/12 and I verified my numbers 11/13).
  • 11/8 (not proofed) - 13 deeds for 1,585 points.
Next week, the comptroller deeds should begin to show some deeds purchased after the start of new member purchasing.
746 deeds with 98,752 points (10/15-11/8). 19 week days (not sure if any were Holidays for the comptroller).

This seems like the initial numbers may have been skewed lower do to current owners not closing quickly?

This seems like November is off to a decent start! I can’t wait to see the October sales data especially comparing PVB tower to RIv!
 
November 12 data (not proofed by county yet) - 70 deeds for 9,877 points.

Beginning to see the new members purchasing. (10/29 and 10/30 palm tree dates).

Lowest new PVB contract ID I see with those palm tree dates was 14030587.000 (but I think this was actually initiated around October 3). I believe the new member contracts really are beginning close to 14030700.000 and highest I have seen in those two dates was 14030995.000. This means they had roughly 300 people interested enough to start work. Doubtful all of them eventually show up. However, I think that's a sign guides were at least busy those first two days for new members to buy PVB2.

11/13 Edit: this makes 19 days of county data (only proofed through 11/7) when deeds recorded reached the 100k mark. November 11 was Veteran's Day Holiday.
