@wdrl and I gather data separately. Sometimes we message each other to try to verify our numbers. Entirely possible one or both of us miss something slightly, but you should find are numbers are extremely close each month.

Wil's been at this since late 2009. Remarkable the dedication he has had to gather his data and write monthly articles for DVCNews all these years.

Thanks to both of you!

DVCnews is top notch. I think no site does a better job at covering all the fine print and historical details of DVC ownership, sales, dues, etc. They are on a whole nother level :sunny:

Reading things like there was a 935-pt Riviera deed makes me woozy. Why? Whyyy wouldn't a Guide at least warn them to split that up a little bit? Gonna be buried with that one.
Maybe that’s a December week in a Grand Villa?

850 points plus the 10% premium for reserving a ‘favorite week’ would be 935pts.

They aren’t messing around!

Very interesting point about the FW! That math does work.

So, knowing very little about FW contracts, is it not possible to get a FW but split it up as long as it still sums to the total needed? I could see that being the case, requiring all points in one standalone contract, but am not familiar with how they work.

Because breaking up requires additional closing costs, maybe that is not something they can volunteer to an owner?

And, I think that may have been a fixed week?
