DVC'ers....A Few Beach Club Villa Pictures!!

Here is a photo of myself (turns out the ONLY photo of myself this trip ) with a friend I have met for the first time, Larry, from California. Larry posts on The DIS, however, only occassionally, mainly the DVC board...but being the Small World that this is, it's not this time due to the DIS how I happened to have met him. Larry is a friend of my brother Bill's Bill lives in California, frequents the Laughing Place board, and knows Larry through frequenting Disneyland Larry mentioned to my brother that he was traveling to WDW in July, and well....you can guess the rest, he suggested to Larry to meet up with his sister

We decided to meet in the Dolphin Lobby and walk over to the ESPN for lunch. It was a gorgeous day, but little did I suspect when I left the room that day that my boys were going to be at their absolute worst "Thingly" behavior I may joke around about them here on the boards, because they ARE high energy, and they do get into things and try my patience at times, but Holy Moly, I have never seen them this bent on embarassing their mother Seems they mustered up all the Thingish behavior they could and let loose on victimizing poor Larry We did manage to get in some conversain in between my calls of "cut that out, sit down, stop it, get off there, don't touch that" but BOY was I embarassed! Had I known I might have postponed for another day rather than put the man through all that, but I have to say, Larry was a good sport , kept cool and displayed patience beyond reasonable Thank you again Larry, I did enjoy our little visit, in SPITE of my "Things". ("Things" were brought back to room afterwards for the remainder of the day for their behavior )

The rest of the photos are from a little investigative walk we took through the new Beach Club Villa area. Larry, being a DVC'er was anxious to see, and I was more than willing to nose around as well Here you can see the blend of Beach Club resort with the Villas, with a muted color change hinting at the dividing line

Now here's something you don't see every day! I always thought Disney went to lengths to disguise work trucks where they could, and use plain white vans & such, but I guess this must have been a real emergency
