I am at 4 contracts. Bought 120 points and started telling myself I would do one trip like that a year and continue staying offsite or at swan/dolphin with Marriott points. Very quickly ended up with 420 points total.

I've been a DVC addict since 1996 and a Disney addict since 1973. I have contributed to my husband, son's and now DIL's addictions...we're a hot Disney mess! We do buy and sell and are now on #9 and considering #10. I always wanted a pony but never got one...I blame my parents who drove my brother and I 1800 miles one way without a/c in 1973. Regrettably, we drove 1800 miles back (also without a/c) and I have been in recovery ever since.



I am also an enabler as some disboard friends have indicated...is there a therapy board we can join?

Welcome and thank you for sharing your story! It brought back many memories of my childhood back in the mid 70s with my parents brining ya to Orlando for Disney and SWorld. 2,500 miles and watching my parents scheme that trip, being horrified by Snow Whites Scary ride was a Acid trip (never experimented w the real thang), panic attack and fearing for my life; I think was 3 yrs old. The numerous Disney memorabilia even the giant Disney pencils and the giant eraser at the end lol...
Then later in life the ultimate Disney rush; DVC ownership. Finding myself late at night in bed lusting over a CC; the rush! Then BLT, if only one more; then bam owner at BLT... This is our safe place

4 resorts:
- 2 contracts at BRV
- 3 small contracts at AKL
- 2 studio guaranteed week contracts at CCV, with 1 small contract in ROFR (so 3 total if the last passes)
- 1 small contract at SSR waiting for closing docs (for sleep around points, though I confess if I had purchased CCV first, I wouldn't have gone after this contract)

It used to be around 2-3 weeks from ROFR to Points (which included closing). I think my average had been around 10-15 days. Now it takes 3-4 weeks to close, then another 3-4 weeks to get points.
