DVC @ Wilderness Lodge - Boulder Ridge vs Copper Creek?

I'm sure this is a topic that has been discussed before, but does anyone have strong feelings one way or another about Boulder Ridge vs Copper Creek? Have been considering the idea of DVC ownership recently and only just started looking into it. I've always really loved the feel of Wilderness Lodge (and Fort Wilderness, for that matter) so I'm thinking either Boulder Ridge or Copper Creek might be a great choice. Does anyone have a strong preference? What are the main differences between the two resorts? Looking at the resale listings seems like waaaay more Boulder Ridge contracts are available (and for cheaper!) than Copper Creek. Wondering what might be the reason? Maybe I should hold off until more information about Reflections gets released, as that resort looks really beautiful in its nature theme, too.

It's so hard to pick one, there's so many intangibles to go into the decision, aside from the points and money aspect of it all. On one hand I'd love to be in one of the Epcot resorts to be able to stroll into World Showcase whenever I want, but the Boardwalk and Beach & Yacht clubs don't do it for me aesthetically the same way Wilderness Lodge does.

Basically, CCV rooms are in the main hotel part and BRV is a separate building but easy to get to the main hotel.

Since CCV rooms were converted, the stuidos and 1 bedrooms only sleep 4...no exceptions. BRV studios sleep 5 and while 1 bedrooms only have sleeping for 4, they will allow you to book with 5 but no sleeping accommodations are provided.

BRV expires in 2042 vs CCV which is 2067..I think. Studios are harder to get at CCV as there are not as many.

VWL (aka BRV) is one of the original DVCs. CCV isn't quite sold out yet and is a recent property.

CCV is difficult to book studios.

And to expand on Sandisw, when BRV is refurbished this year they might get that 5th sleep surface in the 1BR. Hard to say up front. They're doing it at SSR.

Sandi is spot on. Copper Creek studios can be a challenge to book in peak season due to the low number and points taken up by the cabins. They are being walked at November- December and Xmas at 11 months, but mostly you should be OK if booking at 8 ET. However, resort is wonderful and has 47 years left which is the biggie. Studios are on the small side having been converted from hotel rooms.
Boulder Ridge rooms are much larger. In their own very nice DVC building (the greatest mini DVC lobby on property). They need refurbishment but that is being done next year. The 1 beds will then likely get the under TV Murphy. I would have said studios would too, but after the SSR renovation, I suspect not. Bummer about BRV is end date, only 21 years now.
I’d buy Copper Creek simply due to the end date, but you cannot go wrong with either resort- I find the atmosphere, particularly at night, sublime.

I own at BR. Studios are easier to get. Rooms are getting a much needed refurb this year. Bathrooms are small, cookie cutter.
I think BR is quiter. If you are thinking studios in high demand time, BR. Otherwise the contract length if CCV is more appealing. Imho

I was in a 1 bedroom at CCV and it seemed to be smaller than what I was used to at BCV and BWV. There was no big closet off the bathroom.

I have stayed at both, usually stay at 1BRs. Love them both, but for me it's CCV. Staying IN the hotel is an advantage to me. May not be for you, obviously. 2042 expiration matters too, of course- to my heirs.
