DVC Weekly Rates

The DVC Point charts show "weekly" rates. How many days are considered a week and does it include weekends?

7 consecutive nights in a week. Just add up points for 7 consecutive nights and it will be the same, the weekly rate quote is for planning convenience only. If the week happens to be split by a change in point use season, you use the daily rate for each day. DVC ressies are not subject to the same rule as regular WDW ressies. At regular resorts, if your reservation overlaps more than one season, whatever rate you checked in under holds for the entire stay. DVC ressies go by each day.
