DVC waitlist question

I"m using the "new" waitlist for the first time for my July trip. We're booked in a 2br at BCV with 1 queen/sofa in the 2nd bedroom. I'm waitlisted for the 2 queens. The 2 queens was available for 3 of my nights, but I didn't want to chance that last night not coming through, so I booked the other one and waitlisted for all 4 nights. MS told me that there is an "auto" confirm policy in place now. That the system automatically confirms you if your waitlist comes through. So, if someone calls now and cancels a 2 queen 2br right now and I'm first, it should automatically confirm for me right? I shouldn't have to call back on the hopes that one is available. The last time I used the waitlist, it was checked once a day manually, so callling often was your best shot of getting what you want. So, for those of you waitlist vets, what is the best way of getting your waitlist?

It is unlikely this will happen. but it might

remember that BCV only has 25 dedicated 2-bedrooms -they are very, very hard to get.
