DVC Visa Day 1 pin

Anyone else get their pin today? It is actually pretty cool.

Not yet. Still waiting. I used the card a week or so after I received it. How long was it from the time you used your card until you received your pin?

So they automatically send it right? Not after you PAY the 1st bill? LOL!! I think by month end we will have maxed ours out All stuff we would have "needed" anyways.

I received mine yesterday, too. (No bill yet although it should be arriving any day now.) I first used my card on the 11th. Closing date was around the 19th I believe, so the bill is on its way.

Used it first on the 12th of this month and got the bill and pin the same day (yesterday).

I used my Disney Rewards Visa on 3/11 (as soon as I got it) and have already paid my bill online, but no pin as of yet.

Some day...my pin will come....

I have not received my pin yet...hoping today, I got my card on March 8th and broke it in the same day

We have not received the card yet for DH We called on the 8th, 17th and he called again yesterday and they said they could see in the system we called before so they were going to send it 2 day express or something. Our fear is that the card # is going to be the same as mine, which is activated and if the card is lost in the mail or whatever

I just got off the phone with them; I was asking about DH's card (which is supposedly on the way and he said there was a delay in those). I asked about the pin, and he said 4-6 weeks after first purchase. He evinced great surprise that anybody got one before that, but then we all know that a lot of the people who answer the phones are reading from a script.

I missed this thread. We just received our pin today too. No bill yet. I also have yet to receive my card. My dh used the card the next day if I remember right and that was about two weeks ago.

It came in a 2 3/4" x 2 3/4" plastic case. This pin is about 2" x 1 1/2". Red Disney Visa Card - says Day 1 2003 set against black Mickey Mouse Ears.

Talking about pins - when they started to sell WLV (even though we did not add-on here) points, everyone received a pin in the mail. We did buy BCV points, but regardless, is there or will there be a BCV pin mailed out?

AnnaS.. I was told that they would probably not be sending out BCV pins, but if you stop by the model at BCV and sign the guest book, they will be more than happy to give you a pin!

My guide sent me a BCV pin. Robin is my guide and she is fantastic!

Thanks Terry - I will have to stop by the BCV models when we go down. I would love to have one. (I also want one of OKW - will have to get this one too when we stay in July).

I wish my guide had sent me one automatically, but no luck.

Is the pin only available for people who signed up for the card using the DVC code? I didn't get my card with DVC on it and called this week to correct it, but I'm worried I won't get the pin. Are you saying I can call my guide to correct it?

NO, we are talking about two different pins. If you signed up for the credit card in early March, you'll get a pin.

Your guide will think you are crazy if you call him/her up asking for the credit card pin. (We were talking about getting a pin for BCV...some guides gave them to new owners, some did not.)
