DVC villas compared to FW cabins

We have always stayed at the cabins inFW and really like it. However, I would like to try something different. Are the villas similar to the cabins ie do you feel it is more quiet and relaxed than the hotels? Or are the boardwalk ones really noisey and feel more like an apartment? I know OKW would be more quiet but I guess I am more curious about the BWV or BCV. C an you hear neighbors and do they make so much noise it is hard to sleep? Thanks

I've never stayed at the cabins, so I can't make a comparison, but I may be able to answer some of your questions.

The villas are nicer and more relaxed than the hotels. If you are talking 1 bdrm, there is way more room, a jacuzzi, a washer/dryer in the room and a full kitchen. We usually have a room overlooking the Boardwalk and it has never been noisy . Once the door to the balcony is shut, you can't hear a thing (and DH is a very light sleeper).

BWV does seem (to me) like having an aprtment right at WDW. I have never heard the neighbors.

It's a wonderful location.

Our most recent trip to OKW was in a studio. The studio has a connecting door to the larger unit. We were able to hear the neighbors in the evening because they played loud music. We could also hear voices. However, all the noise stopped every evening by 10:00.

We loved BC! I haven't stayed over at BWVs, but we have walked over there in the evening. You would probably hear more noise over there at night than at BC. If you stay at BC, it is a very easy walk over to the BW, and you will have a great pool!

Years ago we stayed at FW cabins.....I hated it called CRO to see if there was anything available to fit 6....BWV came up.....Absolutely no comparison....the Hotel atmosphere is completely different. The pool at BWV is awesome, being in the Epcot resort area is awesome, walking to Epcot and MGM is awesome...

We purchased our first DVC contract that trip...

as far as noise...the only time i've noticed noise is when our room was above the Boardwalk and in the evening we hear people...other rooms I haven't ever had this problem..

Any of the locations that have a room beside it, or above it or below can be noisey depending on your neighbors. None of the lodgings are 100% sound proof.

BW and BC villas are similar to staying at those hotels only the accomidations are much larger than a room.
