Does anyone have experience getting Fastpasses from the DVC Tour in Downtown Disney? Can they be used on any ride even if it doesn’t have Fastpass (like Peter Pan)? Any other exclusions?

They are only good for rides with a Fast Pass line. A year ago they excluded the newest rides (like Radiator Springs Racers).

I got them in January and were the kind AnneK mentioned above. Certain rides were still excluded. I didn't even realize I'd gotten the FPs because they were loaded automatically onto my AP. I only saw them later, when I opened the Disneyland app.

I did the tour a little over a week ago. I was genuinely interested and realized that DVC is not for my family or how we vacation (value and lots of days).

Anywho, we got FP only, no gift card :(

We got 4 FP each that could be used on any attraction that has FP except Guardians. It was nice to take a night time ride on RSR or just walk into Indy anytime!

How did you get the offer for the $100 gift card?

We talked to someone at one of the umbrella stands and that was what they offered if we went and listened to their pitch - 3 fast passes each and $100 Disney Gift Card. We did this about 2 years ago, so they may have changed what they offer. Very low pressure sales pitch, took about an hour, they had a daycare/fun center for the kids. We to listened the the sales pitch and then said we'd think about it and they gave us the fast passes and gift card and we went on our way. We ended up buying eventually, but bought resale and not direct from Disney.

I'm curious whether you get these if you book a tour in advance or only if you are already onsite when you agree to go on the tour? There's no reference to it on the DVC preview page (https://disneyvacationclub.disney.go.com/preview-centers/). If you have to be on-site, it is the sort of thing where you can walk up and do it right away? Curious whether it's something I could to our arrival night.

We walked up and booked our tour for the next day at lunch time. We knew we'd be heading back to the hotel about that time so the kids could nap. They had a shuttle van pick us up at the Grand California hotel, and it took us to the preview center, which is behind DLH. We could have walked but they insisted on driving us.

I got it as an offer slipped under the door of my DLH room in an envelope. I thought maybe it was because we had a suite, but not sure. The offer was for a $100 gc and they gave me 4 FPs as well for everyone in our party.

They have a bunch of time slots, so there is always a chance you can get in right away, later that day or the next day. We signed up at the desk in Grand Californian for a time later in the day. We visited the park and when it was time, we went to the kiosk in Toontown to check in (we told them we would be in the park when we made our appointment). They took us backstage to a van and drove us to the preview center by DLH. That was so much nicer than fighting crowds back to the front of the park to make our appointment.

Just curious but did you look into buying DVC via resale. Going direct is often no longer a true value. I bought into DVC at GC (not available for sale through DVC) and saved $12k vs buying direct. Just wanted to share in case you didn’t know about that option.

Does anyone know if they will let you the DVC presentation alone if you are married? I would like to check it out but my husband never comes to Disney with me.

I went without my husband. He wasn't at DL with me when I got the offer.

Does anyone know how late in the day they do these? Don't necessarily want to use park time on it, but we get in at like 4 the day before...thanks!

On the Disneyland app, it says the preview center is open 9 AM-Midnight. I don’t know when the last tour would be with those hours. I think if you got in at 4, you could definitely make it for a DVC Tour.
