I called DVC MS to ask about the buy 4 get 2 tickets for a 4 day OKW stay in May. Rep said they were nontransferable unless party also staying on same reservation and also expired at end of trip. I knew that didn't sound completely correct, so I said thanks, but I was not going to purchase at this time.
2 hours later, I just got 4 DVC 10+ ticket confirm numbers emailed to me for $611 plus tax ($650) each! Not even the buy 4 get 2 free rate or even the 6 day rate! And another one (I'm guessing) based upon was a reservation for only 1 day. All in DH's name. The tickets don't even say how many days. The ticket price is $611 each. I can't find any version of a ticket that costs that???

That does sound weird. I can possibly help with the weird price. The 4+2 days and 6+2 days tickets I bought through member services were slightly cheaper than the price listed on the WDW site. At least you got an email. I never received an email, just the confirmation # from the cast member.

You will get tickets (a number for each ticket). You can assign this number to someone. You can unassign it and assign it to someone else. Once the first day of the ticket is used, you cannot reassign it at that point and the 10 day usage period begins. If you have to cancel your trip, you can apply the cost of the ticket to a future ticket, but the cost may be different.

If you got tickets you did not ask for, I would call DVC or ticketing (wherever you got them) and explain that you did not order them. They should have a recording of the original call. Pick a day when you have nothing else to do. Plan to be on the phone for several hours.

yep! already tried that. gave up after an eternity. I'm going to check all my CC and see if anything was actually charged. I did not give a CC #. Could they have charged it from a prior CC from a DVC stay?

Since you ‘got’ the tickets via a call to MS, could you email them and find out what happened?
Sort of concerning, makes me wonder if a caller before or after you failed to get tickets they ordered but paid for the ones you ordered :(

For what it's worth, $611 is the DVC cost of the Gold AP. I've no idea how this would relate to your issue though. :confused3

I saw but that’s for renewals. Our expired in 2019. I can’t get anyone on the phone for with up to 1hr hold. I sent an email last week. One can dream...I’d be happy with gold renewals!!!
