So I booked the meal and am excited to find out what's in store. I think if they don't make it spectacular then their will be a lot of complaints because for the money.... it should be absolutely amazing. They better have some nice parting gifts. Things we can't get anywhere else.

Your thoughts???

Please post your experience after the event.

This is a for profit event and the costs to rent the venue, staff, catering, character rental, security, can drive up the cost.

I booked the DVC Thanksgiving dinner too, despite the insane cost. Frankly, I feel the cost of ALL Disney food is insane, especially since it is, with a few exceptions, pretty mediocre at best. We also have California Grill booked but I am waiting for them to release a Thanksgiving menu so we can cancel one or the other.

In my experience and we've been over T-day at least six times, all the Disney restaurants serve a T-day meal. Even if they don't "advertise" it, they have a special menu and meal for that day. Even Boma has a whole T-day buffet section plus their normal selections.

Please post your experience with this meal. Just could not swallow the cost amount for our party of 8!!!!! I know my kids will in no way eat even near that amount of food, heck neither will I!!! So hope they give other little trinkets or have great entertainment for ya!

We will be eating at Boma. My kids loved our T-day day meal there three years ago - had a whole Thanksgiving section plus their normal selections. My youngest who was only 7 at the time still talks about that yummy "pumpkin" soup he ate there!! LOL!!
