I love Tervis cups! We are going in Sept..hope to find some then

I bought Tervis mugs for DH and myself last Christmas (with Disney logos etc). They claim they are dishwasher safe, microwave save, etc. We actually loved these mugs and hand washed them most of the time. However, after 6 months they have completely discolored. Tervis said to use a baking soda paste and that didn't work at all. Total waste of money. I'm definitely not a fan of Tervis! Save your money everyone!
Anyone have photos of any of the tumblers? What size? With lids and/or handles?

I'm not a Tervis fan either- they scratch and fade after use and really don't hold up in the dishwasher. I was really disappointed as I like the design and function of the mugs, especially for my grandkids. I had bought Tervis on the Homer Laughlin website too- same problem although not nearly as cute as Disney's designs!
We have had the complete opposite happen. Our tumblers are between 6 months and 10 months old. They have been through the dishwasher with each use and still look brand new. I only buy the ones with the entire insert, I don't like the ones with something that looks like a patch in them. Maybe with the full color all the way around I cannot see any scratches. Color-wise though, they are as bright as the day we bought them.
I've seen some pretty lousy merchandise lately from Disney. Can anyone confirm these are the genuine Tervis branded tumblers?

I would totally return those to Tervis for a replacement. I put mine in the dishwasher all the time, and mine have never turned like that. I have some that are several (more than 5) years old that look brand new. I have never had anything stain/discolor them like that, even iced tea. And I've never cleaned them with baking soda - only the dishwasher.
I have about 20 Tervis 16 oz tumblers, they are in dishwasher almost daily. None have discolored at all, and they are about 2-3 years old. I have some Disney patch ones, a couple of Disney wraps, several Marvel designs, and lots of NY Giants ones.
I would return the discolored ones for sure, but that is so bizarre what happened to them.
