DVC Tennis Courts

Hi all,

We are renting a studio from a member at SSR in 2019 and saw there are tennis courts. I was wondering how these worked.

The website said that they're free and that equipment rentals are free for DVC members. Would that still work for us, or would we need to bring our own equipment since we're not technically a member, only renting from one?

Courts are available on a first-come, first-served basis and are generally accessible from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM—though hours may vary by location and courts may occasionally be booked for lessons or events. Appropriate tennis attire and shoes are required.

Any Guest of a Walt Disney World Resort hotel may access the tennis courts, and equipment can be obtained using your MagicBand or a valid Resort ID. Disney Vacation Club members may check out equipment free of charge; for all other Guests, an associated fee applies.

Since you are NOT a DVC Member, a rental fee would apply.

They have Har-Tru courts at SSR, and you do not have to pay to use the courts. People hardly ever use them, so there is hardly ever a wait. I would bring my own rackets. You can purchase cans of balls there.
