DVC Studios ADA accessible?

We are hoping to make a quick trip to WDW in Jan- was wondering if any of the DVC studios are handicap accessible? Specifically looking at a standard view room at BWV. Does any one have any info?

There are studios in each resort that are ADA accessible. Whether their will be any available in January or if they are already in use is another story. Also it is unlikely that you will be able to get a standard view studio at BWV in January at this point. Planning January now is last minute by DVC/Timeshare terms.

Quick reminder. If your twins are already three when you go in January, you won't fit in a studio (unless it is just the two of you and the kids stay home). Studios only sleep four.

And I agree about the standard view - probably not going to be available for a January trip. They usually get booked up 11 months out.

When you call MS will first check to see if a room is open and then will place you on hold and contact special needs to find out if any of the accessible studios are available or if they have been reserved. And there are different levels of accessible so keep that in mind. Not all have a roll in shower so if that is needed be certain to mention it. It's also possible that even though a room type is open that all the accessible rooms have been reserved for other guests. I'd be calling as soon as possible for Jan and be open to all resorts since BWV Standard view is going to be very difficult to get at this late date.

Thank you for the responses! We are trying to squeeze in an adults only trip which may or maynot work. Wishful thinking. Thanks for the heads up on the standard view rooms at BWV. We really aren't picky as far as the view goes or the resorts for that matter, so we will take what we can get!
