DVC stay and Dining Plan

We've invited DH extended family to a trip to WDW in June 2010. We'll be supplying the villas for everyone. One family that will be in a studio are interested in the Dining Plan. They will be 2 Adults and 2 children in one studio - although we will have 2-2BR & 3 or 4 studios reserved for the entire group. Can one family in one studio get the dining plan when no one else does?

I guess basically I need to know the rules for DVC stays on points and dining plan. They may or may not purchase tickets before arriving - don't know if you have to have a ticket purchase in order to get dining plan or not.

Any help would be appreciated.

Each room is a different reservation number, and each room can have, or not have, the Dining Plan. Each person listed on the reservation for that room must have the same Dining Plan. For DVC Stays, you are not required to purchase park tickets through Disney to get the Dining Plans, you may all get your tickets where ever you wish.
