My husband and I have decided to buy in to the DVC-Saratoga Springs Resort---Our sales rep told us that we would be receiving our documents via FedEx this week---we know that if you buy in by 02/28/05 you can choose between two incentives---a free vacation or $1500 towards the over cost---we chose the 1500.00---my question is this---our sales rep told us that there would be a "surprise" in our package---has anyone out there purchased this package and can you tell us what the "surprise is?" We've read on this website that you were given an additional 150 points that could be used towards another vacation before your points actually start in August? Can anyone help us out with this?

I'm guessing that the surprise is the backpack & lithograph......They're both fun little goodies that add to the magic of buying....

As others noted, there was a backpack and a lithograph. Don't expect 150 points to be the surprise. Your option was either the 150 developer points or the $1500 discount. One or the other but not both. Like you, I choose the 10% discount rather than developer points.

Thanks! We are very excited, and nervous about the whole venture! We are Disney nuts, hence the name, and start planning our next trip as soon as we get home---we are hoping to go again in September of this year. This would be our fourth trip in as many years! We were hooked after the first time! I think they, as in Disney, plan it that way!!

we did it last week and our surprise was a blue backpack with a big Mickey hand on it. We also got a matted 8*10 picture of Saratoga Springs.

I agree with what everyone else said. When we signed last July, we took the extra points as our option. We did get a DVC backpack & a print of SSR.

Yes!!! She does go through everything prior to Christmas. Loves to give presents, EARLY

In my own defense, thanks DH, I may shake, rattle and poke gifts from time to time, but I DO NOT SEND OUR CHOCOLATE LAB after them, then pretend like she was acting alone---she's (the lab) an older duck hunting dog and still clearly remembers how to retrieve! That's a story for another time though!!
