DVC Site Maintenance

So after reading so many post about the members site having so many problems over the years my question is, are we paying for this with our yearly maintenance fees? Is so it is obvious we may not be getting our moneys worth.
It has been apparent over the years DVC member services wants the members to do more of the work them self to manage our own accounts. It has been apparent based on current wait times to call member services that they have possibly been reducing member services cast members?
They want to put more of the burden on the member to manager their own account however they apparently are not able to give us the proper resources (that we may be paying for) to do it.
I do not have a problem doing some of my own account management however we need a system that works and not get the Dwarfs or Olof missing his head all the time like I did part of the day yesterday.
My wife and I have been members for well over 20 years. It seams to me most of the problems have been in the last 5 years or so and that DVC management can't keep up with with the growth.
Imagine if Amazons web site was down as much as the DVC web site has been down over the years. It would get fixed real fast.

We all want a functional & reliable website. Most of us would prefer NEVER to call MS.

The website is funded by DVCMC out of the set percentage they get from us every year to manage the club. If they want to avoid adding CMs to handle all of our issues, it is definitely in their best interest to fix the website and add features. I think the present troubles are mostly related to the difficulty the entire Company (including IT) is having with staffing up to meet demand after they laid so many off. Even so, it's hard to continue to be patient with them - it seems like we've been patient forever and nothing much is changing for the better.

I got in using Chrome.
Not working on Chrome, Safari, and I won't attempt a download of MS Edge.
I'm seeing new things this time, so nice that Disney is giving us new surprises everyday:

I’ve eaten my cookies. Used multiple computers and tablets and browsers. DVC site is just plain terrible.
Sorry you are having trouble. The sit is working "normally" for me. At the moment I am on a laptop using Chrome.
 
I just got in and it seems to be working as expected. No movement on my RIV contract being loaded or my BLT contract being transferred for the new owner. Uggg.

I’m with you. The even more comical part is I got in, was able to make 1 search and then tried another and got Rex again :badpc: Terrible might be an understatement
 
I can login but can't modify (dinosaur "Nothing to see here.") or if I try to book something I get the the dreaded 7 Dwarves ( We're working on it.) It's been this way since Fri. I emailed MS but no reply yet. It's so frustrating and tiresome.

That seems unacceptable to you as a member. Puts you at such a disadvantage when your only option to do anything is call in and hope the wait isn’t 2+ hours to speak with someone that can help you do anything. And that’s not even accounting for the fact that you literally can’t do anything when the offices are closed pretty much making your membership useless. I’m understanding when it’s an issue that effects every or a majority of members but that doesn’t seem to be the case here. You’ve tried all the usual suspects to give things? Incognito mode, clearing cookies, different browsers? I’ve only experienced problems this morning, my account was working all weekend like you’re saying.

I've tried everything. Clearing cache, using different browsers and devices and nothing works. I was able to email MS so that was something. I'm going to stalk Chat and see if they can cancel my waitlists and add a guest to a reservation.

Seems like the simple solution is to become a mod....LOL :duck:
 
My AKV contracts are working fine....my BLT contract is missing all the details (points, UY, etc).
