DVC rooms last refurbishment?

Thinking about staying DVC next trip... Anyone have stats on when each of the DVC resorts' rooms were last fully refurbished?

While it can take several months to a year (maybe a little longer) to fully rehab an open and operating resort...OKW finished getting all new appliances and carpet a couple years ago. I'm thinking total rehab (new appliances, etc) tkes place about every 10 years, with minor rehabs (carpet, if needed, beds etc) every 5 to 7 years.

We were at BWV in March and were told by a CM there that BWV was going through some changes. New beds, linens, Plasma TV's and love seats. She did say that we had one of the new mattresses in our room (where I slept like a baby!)

OKW went through a major revision 2-3 years ago. Constantly, DVC is making subtle changes throught the year at all locations.

In the last Vacation Magic I received it said BCV sofa bed matresses were being updated this summer but don't know about anything else and haven't heard if they have or if it has started yet. Does nayone know?

Last I read, the mattresses were held up because of manufacturing problems.

We occupied 2 different rooms at BWV in June.....

The first was room 5041 (1br BW view). It was very clean, it seemed freshly painted & had a brand new sofa bed & a very mice mattress....It was wonderful!

Our second room was exactly 3 floors below our first room (#2041 1 br BW view) was terrible.... It was dirty with mold in the bath & on the balcony. There were stains on the walls and lots of wear & tear.

What a difference 3 floors makes!
