DVC Room Special Request for Kidani....

Hi! We are staying at Kidani, NEXT WEEK!!! YAY!

Here is the deal or my question and forgive my ignorance too!
We are using my bro in law's points so we are "renting" points I guess you can say.
Anyway, I wanted to put in a special room request to try and stay near the lobby on the 3 or 4th floor....Mainly I am pregnant so staying close to transportation is key to us, or me. So Here is the question do I have to have my bro-inlaw call in or can I do this via regular disney reservation request line? We are "online checked in" the only question that we could answer for a special room request was for which savanna we wanted which I chose sunset....Any help or suggestions would be great. I wouldn't be concerned as much if we were arriving earlier in the day, but we are getting there late in the evening and we are arriving mid week so both are probably working against us on room availability too. Thanks for the assistance!

You should have your BiL call Member Services tomorrow to put in the request. I'm not sure, though, since you already did online check-in if it will be added. I believe it will. He can ask Member Services about. You are not able to call the Central Reservations Office (CRO) to do anything with a DVC reservation.

What are your plans at the parks? Are you going to rent an ECV or use a wheelchair? You'll need to plan on a lot of walking at the parks.

You may even want to check the Disabilities Board to get some hints.

Good luck with your request!!! I requested something NOT at the far end of the hall and ended up the farthest downt he hall that a guest could possibly be!!! I tracked it on a pedometer and it was just over 1/4 mile between the elevator and our door! Great exercise!
