Is there someplace that shows good pictures and room layouts for the DVC resorts? I am looking at the 2 bedrooms and would like to see how they lay out.

Just go to http://www.disneyvacationclub.com, click on the Destinations header, then Disney Vacation Club Resorts, pick the resort you want to look at then click Accomodations. It will show a floorplan for each size (studio, 1BR, etc) and all but the AKV will have a interactive, 360 degree view of the room types.

Hope this helps:)

BWV, BCV, VWL, and SSR have basically the same layout. OKW is quite different, and most of AKV will be different as well.

We have the option of staying at either BWV or OKW. If the layouts are different, which one would you say is better?

Room for room OKW is a lot larger and has a bigger balcony it is like a small house BW is like a small apartment.

If your primary criteria for choosing a place to stay is the layout and you are going to be staying in a 1BR or larger, OKW is the clear winner. The 1BR and larger villas there are much larger than those at the other WDW resorts and have large verandas instead of just balconies. It's a lovely resort, quiet and relaxing. If you also care about location, that makes it harder to choose. BWV is a 5-10 minute walk from Epcot and a 10-15 minute walk from MGM (there is also a boat going to both parks). There is lively entertainment out on the boardwalk in the evening with jugglers, magicians, music and carnival type games.

If you're staying in a studio, the studios at OKW have two queen beds while the studios at BWV have one queen bed and a full-size sleeper sofa. DH and I prefer the setup at BWV because we like having a couch rather than a second bed in the room -- makes the room feel more open.

But it all boils down to when you want to go. If you are thinking about Dec or Thanksgiving or this summer, you might only be able to get OKW. And if you are renting points, you might not get anything.

If you want to stay in a 1 bedroom, I'd go with OKW. If your going studio, I'd say it's even. To me OKW 1drm seems so much larger than the other 1bdrm at the other resorts. If being close to EPCOT (8 min walk) is more important, than I'd go with BWV.
