Thanks for replying.
I was very excited to go back again.
Then we walked through what could damper the trip, just with ride and event closures.
We remembered the disappointment of weather closing outdoor rides during normal park operations.
Disney feels your pain. Dries your tears with fast passes.
Then, we looked at what baggage we'd bring along~
3 months of lockdown and daily remote learning/home schooling,
(congrats Nana and Papa on passing 2nd grade again),
while Sweet T's DM and DD were frontline essential workers,
in my head justifying the expense vs value of limited Disney park availability, today's economy, and
the number #1 thought keeping me sleepless, is, the risk to our health, from even a mild case.
We need a vacation, but, probably not this time of year, Disney.
I will have my emotional breakdown, just somewhere else.
The deluge of rain & humidity while wearing a mask in FL this past week, was a challenge for an adult.
Imagine checking it with any age child? "Everyone!" "Change the mask & sunscreen!" (Do this in your head first)
OTOH,
I've seen a cute bucket style hats like kids wear on the beach, with a thin plastic shield in the front of your face. That might help the kids keep their masks dry and hand off their face. I'll see if I can post a pix of one.
Thanks for listening while I talked myself out of it (during the summer at least)
