are there any of the DVC resorts that celebrate Halloween or do anything special for it?
ANd if there are- do they only do it on Halloween night, or do they do it prior to that as well? Do you know how I can find out if there is something happening?

thanks everybody!

We are new DVC members as well. Our first trip home is in the middle of October during The F & W @ Epcot. How is Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party? Is it worth the $$. I am interested in knowing about Halloween happenings as well, we have a 6 year old daughter and this will be her first time to Disney World. We are Disneyland veterans, but this is a whole othe WORLD!:smooth:

My DW and I stayed at the Boardwalk last year and I know they had a halloween party for the kids outside. Our balconey overlooked it all and they seemed to have a great time. I'm not sure about other resorts.
Mickey's Not So Spooky Halloween Party is a great event for both kids and their big kid parents. It is a little pricey, but my DW and I have went the last several years w/o kids just to be there,
it's a great time....better get your tickets soon if you are interested.

Does anyone know the dates of the Not So Scary Halloween Party
and where you purchase tickets.
Planning on being there Oct 18-25
Also what resorts have it, I'll be at BCV
Thanks

If you go to the Theme Park board- at the top is a MNSSHP thread- gives all the info there! It's mraked so it always stay at the top of the board! :p

You should also check out wdwig.com and see the information about MNSSHP>
It's a great time in my opinion, if you plan a little bit. We always have priority seatings in the park for that night just prior to the event and that way we're in the park for the start of the party. We won't be getting full week/trip passes for the parks this year so it will be well worth the money for us. If you already have passes, I can see it being an added expense. But it's great to be there for all the special events. The fireworks are the best. Read all you can on the boards, etc. and be sure and get a map prior to the party if you can and plan your night. If they don't give out the maps ahead of time, you can always search one out online (on these boards) to get an idea of where the different things (pics, parades) are offered. The parade is cool; be sure and plan a spot before the start so you don't miss the headless horseman. I've never gone right around Halloween, always a few weeks beforehand. I'm not sure how crowded it is right around the 31st....but it's nice early in the month. good luck.

Already have my tickets for October 24 ($31.90 each including tax)

Other dates are October 3, 5, 10, 14, 16, 19, 26, 30, qnd 31.
