DVC Resort condition?

The cleanliness you see at the parks are the same you will see at DVC and non-DVC resorts.
I didn't know what he was talking about, either, so I didn't post a response.

If he is talking about the resort ratings from DIS posters, that data can be found here. The DIS data doesn't support his assertion, so I'm not sure what he meant.

We recently returned from a two night stay at BW and a 6 night stay at SS. The room at BW was in need of repair. The tile around the showerdoor and outside balcony was rusty. Additionally, it semed to us the walkways could have used a good sweeping. We have not been to BW in several years and we could see the needed repairs as soon as we entered the room. We requested a different room but was told nothing availabel. SS on the other hand was in great shape. We all paid good money for the DVC and have come to expect perfection each and everytime we visit Disney. If you think about it it's Disney's fault we're so fussy. They usually provise flawless acomodations and when their not we can see them right away
 
Timeshare Users Group does resort ratings.

Currently the following DVC resorts are in the Top 30 member rated resorts worldwide: VWL #2, OKW #6, BWV #8, BCV #21, HHI #23

VB and SSR both have high ratings also (above 9.0). The list only covers the Top 30.
 

Just returned from a 5 night stay in a 2br at BWV. No complaints, great visit!

Did you notify the management?

What did management do or say?
 
I did notify the front desk and was told no other 2 bedroom rooms available. Considering we were only staying 2 days we stayed in that room. I do plan on sending a letter to the DVC management advising them of the room condition.
 
This board is, of course, a perfectly reasonable place to post problems that people encounter at the villas. (To make sure there are no hurt feelings, I want to make it clear that the previous post about problems at BW sounded reasonable to me, and included the all-important report to management.) However, we also indulge in resort-bashing from time to time, and sometimes it goes over the top. The OP of this thread is a good reminder to the rest of us that frothing at the mouth about a minor problem has broad negative affects and can really upset potential buyers or first-time DVC travellers.
 
Hey Rock, don't you think we have a responsibility to report on this site room conditions /problems and let any potention byers/ 1st time tracvelers know prior to arriving so they don't have to deal with the same problems.

Try it again after the DIS server issue is resolved - once you can get to TTS info and the Point Charts and other items on that server, I'm almost positive the link he posted should work.

P.S. I never read room reports - those who are unhappy post way more than those who are happy/satisfied. Reading those things just gives you a skewed perspective, IMHO .
