DVC reservation question

If I call and make a reservation at 11 months at my home resort, can I modify the reservation later to drop or add days, or do I have to cancel and start over? We are hoping to be able to get away on a Friday, but may have to change that to arrive on Saturday if my husband can't get the day off...

Yes, you can add or remove day(s) without losing your existing reservation.

However you still need to be within your banking deadline when you call if you want to bank the released points into the next year..

Yes, you may add or drop a day from the reservation. I've done it several times to get a better airfare.

You do not have to cancel the reservation. Ms will modify the original reservation as long as you are adding or dropping from the "ends" of the stay.

As noted, the above is true if you drop days off the beginning or end of the trip but if you attempt to drop a day in the middle of your reservation time (not your plan), they will likely require you to cancel and redo the reservation. Note, if you might drop a day (at beginning) and add one (at the end) best to reserve entire time 11 months out so you can just drop not add because adding a day can be difficult since it depends on availability at time you add.
