DVC renter question

Just a quick question about the renting confirmation number. I tried searching but wasn't able to find it.

I am renting a week's stay from someone on here and I have my confirmation number from Disney. Am I able to put this in the my reservations section on disney's site or are DVC and that system not connected? I ask because each time I put in the confirmation number it comes back unable to retrieve. I figured it must be because of the system upgrade or the fact that they are not connected but wanted to check.

Sites down right now for their maintenance but I will check that later, thanks!

I just want to make sure the system recognizes the confirmation so I can do 180 + 10 dining reservations next month.

Actually I checked a DVC reservation using that link WAY longer ahead than that - like a month or two, when I rented points in January.
