DVC rental question

Hello
We are DVC members. We have friends who would like to join us May 2016 for 7 nights. They would like a 1 bedroom or 2 bedroom. We don't have enough points to share. We have looked on Disneyworld.com but all that is available is treehouse villas. We have talked to them about renting. Do you think renting is the best for there situation? What company do you go through? How much does it cost? Thanks!!

I'd make sure they understand the difference between renting points and making a reservation through Disney.
