DVC rental - linking tickets through MDE

We have rented DVC points for a stay in December. In the past, the only way to connect tickets to your reservation was to have the owner buy tickets through member services. Is that still the only way? Or can I buy tickets (via Disney or UT) and link them to my reservations via MDE? I'm concerned that the lack of tickets on my reservation will prevent me from being able to get FP+ and magic bands.

You do not need to have theme park admission linked to MDE to get MagicBands.

You do need to have theme park admission linked to MDE in order to make FastPass+ selections.

You link tickets yourself using either the MDE website or app. The owner would not be able to link them to your MDE account unless you give them your sign on information.

The member cannot buy tickets for you through member services, you need to get them on your own. DVC reservations are not packages including tickets, even for members.
