While Stiles may be faster, he’ll never be as cool as when Joe Strummer of the Clash ran the London Marathon in 1983 wearing a custom Clash singlet in 4 hours and 13 minutes. Also, he has the most epic taper ever in marathon training: “Drink 10 pints of beer the night before the race. Ya got that? And don’t run a single step, at least 4 weeks before the race.”
