DVC Rental Contract

Good morning! I'm getting ready to rent points for the first time from a nice DVC'er and I wanted to have a contract - so a few questions - for both buyers and sellers:

1. Do you feel a contract is necessary?
2. What precautions do you usually take when renting points.
3. Do you have a contract form I could see that protects both the buyer and seller?

There are some sample rental contracts here.

A written contract is a good way to ensure that both parties understand the terms.

Thanks for the sample rental contract link, but I clicked on the link and am having trouble finding a sample. I too am new to DVC and would like to rent points. I want it to go as smoothly and professionally as possible.

Thank you. I found that thread after I visited this one. Sorry. I did post a questions on that thread on how to do electronic signatures-is it faxing the contract back and forth until it's complete? Someone said you can sign it using e-mail....???? Thank you for your help and time.
