Update:

Ignore the below message. They ended up checking in DVC people at International Gateway this morning for the preview event. I do not believe they had planned to but there were so many people at the entrance for the event that they ended up calling a couple over. You line up to the right of the entrance and they check you in by looking at your confirmation email and your blue card.

Even if you have an Epcot park pass they want you to check in there for the event so they can account for you in the park. They told us to just tap in again when we left the park so that we could park hop with no issue after 2:00.

Original Post:

Heads up to those of you who are doing the DVC Remy’s preview and are staying in the Boardwalk area or Riviera…..

If your reservation window is prior to park hopping time or you don’t have a park pass for Epcot I was just told you won’t be able to enter from the International Gateway side. They will only allow for special entry from the main entrance. I’ve asked this twice and have been told the same answer twice. So if you are coming from the InternatIonal Gateway side you will either need 1) an Epcot Park Pass or 2) have gone to your first park prior to your reservation window.

This seems very short-sighted to me. With the AP preview they just loaded a bonus Epcot Park pass on everybody’s MDE. So we were able to do HS at rope drop and get to EP at rope drop.

On another note, arrive early for your reservation window. As they are activating Florida special 2 day passes at the tap sties. This is causing huge lines to get in. EP wasn’t even allowing people through security as we were leaving because the lines were so long. Similar situation when We left HS today.

ETA: I was also told to take Disney transportation to the main entrance…..little hard to do that from BCV.

Great information. Thank you for the insight. What time was your preview? Did it feel crowded when your time slot was allowed in? How long did it take for you to accomplish seeing everything? Sorry for all the questions but we get to go tomorrow and I’m excited. 🤩

Our AP one was today from 12-1. They let us in at 11:45 and we got right on the ride. When we were off there was a long line. You could ride it more than once but we chose not to. The new creperie is also open and accessible once you are inside the preview area.

Our DVC one is tomorrow at noon.

We have ressies but probably won't be able to go that day......long story, adr's involved, multiple people, too many working parts to change our park days. too bad we couldn't just go in for the ride and leave. So sad.

YOur daughter is beautiful!

We went at 10:30 for the 11am slot. So much fun… the ride was a walk-on for multiple times. We ate in the restaurant and looked at all the merch and design that went into the area. Beautiful and such a fun time. Glad we had an early time because when we left the ride wait times were posting 20 mins. Not sure if that was valid or not.

You’re too kind and the years have past since that memory. We went to BCV this summer for her HS Graduation trip. Time passes too fast. Grab all the Disney memories you can…View attachment 602174
What better way to celebrate than at Beaches & Cream!!!! You let her eat that all by herself?? She will still be recovering first day of college.

Updating - they are checking people in for the preview at the international gateway.
Great! Cause we’re staying at BWV and walking (in my case ECVing) is our favorite mode of transportation to the parks

Can anyone help me? We're AP holders - I signed us up for the preview and got a confirmation that the 15th of September was our day (Did not see any time window mentioned or I missed it if it was). We made park reservations for that date, but we've received no confirming emails, or have seen any other indicator on the website or app that we are indeed good for Ratatoullie on that day, or any times to show up in the queue. I called customer service and they had no clue or any way to verify whether or not we were registered for the preview.
Can anyone help with this? If we are registered, how do I know when to show up? Should I have received some email or something? If we just show up on on the the 15th, will we be able to get on?

My AP times for that date show up in my MDE account. I will be canceling them because I couldn’t get my one night trip to happen.

But, it shows under My plans for the day. If you don’t see it, my guess is it didn’t go through.

I received an email with the subject line: Annual Passholder Event Registration Confirmation. I already had Epcot park passes for that day, but a second set of Epcot park passes was added, so I see two different Epcot park passes for the same people in MDE. I don’t see anything in MDE that shows a time, but the time is in my email confirmation.

At least those of you who went to the preview didn't have to pay directly to ride it. It will probably be 3 years before I ride it, if ever.

How long before your day did you get the email? I have the same thing (2 sets of Epcot Park Passes), but nothing else.

When you registered, you had to select a one hour time block. I also didn't get an email confirmation of my completed registration, BUT I did print the confirmation page out before I closed the browser window. Try calling the Passholder Hotline (407-939-7277) to see if they can pull up your registration and give you your time window.

Has anyone tried to enter at a time different than what they are registered for? I rode yesterday as an annual passholder and have reservations tomorrow as a DVC member for the rest of my group but the time is not the most convenient.
