DVC Questions

Sorry in advance, this is probably asked every day here, but I dont see it anywhere and I am considering purchasing.

How much are annual dues for each DVC property?? I'm seeing $4.18 & 4.62.
(I understand they are assesed per points purchase)

Is that the only addt'l fee per year?? Are annual dues the same as maint. fees?? Any other fees or assesments per year?

I rec'd the packet from the Timeshare store but it does not cover these issues.

Besides purchase cost, annual maintenance fees (dues) are the ony other direct costs (travel, food and admission are an entirely different subject).

If staying at DVC only , even if it is not your home resort , then there are NO extra fee's, only dues. I understand there are fee's when you trade out of the Disney system or for the Disney cruise but I have no idea what those are.

No, annual dues are billed at the beginning of the calendar year or you can have them debited directly to a bank account on a monthly basis. There is no fee or service charge to do it this way.

Dues are actually charged by calendar year not use year as well. So if you buy from DVC directly they prorate the first years dues.

I think dean meant to say they prorate the first years' dues. It's based on how many calendar months are left in the calendar year you purchase.
