Im thinking about joining DVC and making the BCV's home. I have read that DVC members may pool hop to other DVC resorts if the pools are not full. The two exceptions are Storm along bay and the Pool at Animal Kingdom Villas.

My question is this: If Im an owner at BCV, but I'm staying at another DVC resort, say OKW...can I still "hop" to SAB while I'm there? Or do I have to be staying at BCV to use that pool?

Thanks for your help!

You have to be staying at the BCV to use their pools not just be an owner. There are also date restrictions to pool hopping that include all holiday and busy seasons.

And Welcome to the Dis-Boards. I wish I had better news for your first post.;)

Sorry, only the guests of the YC/BC/BCV can swim at SAB and their leisure pools (Dunes Cove pool at BCV). Where you own isn't a consideration for pool hopping. You also have to be staying on points at a DVC resort to pool hop to the other locations. It's not a membership perk, it's a "member staying on points at DVC resort" perk.
