Dvc Points

Trying to figure out points needed and need better understanding.
Example - Going to Disney on the 8th of August leaving the20th.

When i look at chart for Beach Club for Example

Sun Thur 14
FR-SAT 32
Weekly 134

How would this compute? What does weekly include?
Is weekly Sat to Sat or Sun to Sun ??
If this is it then would you just add other days?

I am looking to buy but want to understand the coding?
Also what happen if you book during split time like over the 15th of August?

Well, 14 points times 5 weekdays equals 70 points. Then 32 times 2 equals 64. Therefore a week would be 70 plus 64 which equals 134. If the season is split between the week then you just calculate each individual day separate.

"Weekly" means 7 consective days in the same points season.

Unlike the more traditional booking methods where you're charged at the prevailing check-in rate, DVC does adjust the rate on a day by day basis.

In other words, if your stay crosses "seasons", the points will change.

And you may start your stay on any day you choose. No need for a week to begin on a Saturday or Sunday. DVC is very flexible!

If you want to stay at the Beach Club Villas for the dates stated above it would cost:

Studio - 234 points
1 BR - 470 points
2 BR - 599 points

The points would be the same for the Villas at Wilderness Lodge and Boardwalk Villas (preferred view). The points would be less for Old Key West and Boardwalk Villas (standard view).
