Not sure if this is the right place to post this but here goes. I have been reading up some on the DVC, I read somewhere that the points can be used on a cruise. Does anyone know of a link that would show how many points a cruise costs? What happens if you don’t have enough points? Do you have to buy the difference at current prices? I would greatly appreciate any help you can offer, especially from those who have personally done this before. Thanks in Advance!

I am not an expert on this but there are many here that would know better than me. We used our DVC points for a cruise. Most will say it's not worth it but we had banked points and were short on the cash side so we decided to do it. Are you a DVC member?... if so, there is a member site that should show a point chart. Not everyone in your cabin has to be on points... if you are using points, I believe at least one person per cabin and the rest can be cash....
Hope I helped alittle bit... but like I said, there are more experienced people here that can help... Actually, you also might want to post your message on the cruiseline forum...

I have a related question. If there are a two adults in the cabin, can one adult's fare be paid for with points and the other adult's fare be paid for in cash? Or must it be all one or all the other?

Yes - one adult can pay with points and the other can pay with cash. The cash price will be the one DVC negotiated with DCL. It may be more or less than the per person cash price you could get from DCL or a TA if you booked with cash at the time.

Best wishes -
