One more point. If you plan on going back to WDW in the future, buy the 10 day pass with no expiration. The extra days are so cheap they are worth keeping for the next trip
Actually that's not correct. It's much cheaper to purchase tickets that expire than to pay the extra for the non-expiration just to get two more days.
Ticket prices including taxes:
8-day Adult Ticket: $219.36
Add Park Hopping option: $42.60
Add Water Park option: $53.25
TOTAL: $315.21
10-day Adult Ticket: $223.65
Add Park Hopping option: $42.60
Add Water Park option: $53.25
Add Non-Expiring option: $143.78
Total: $463.28
It will cost $148 more to get those two extra days to use on another trip.

Assuming your next trip is longer than 2-days, it's cheaper to buy new expiring tickets again next time. If your trip was 8 days again, and you had 2-days left, you'd still need to buy for 6 more days.
If you were going to go 5 days this trip and 5 days next time, then the 10-day non-expiring ticket is cheaper than purchasing two 5-day MYW tickets. But if you're going to go all 8-days this trip, then the 10-day non-expiring ticket is not the best deal. You need to crunch the numbers and decide exactly how you'd use the tickets in order to calculate which way is best.
