DVC points for cruising...

We took our first cruise on points - we had points to spare from getting developer points the year before. Our cruise next year is cash - we rented points to pay for it and that is likely how we will continue to "pay" for our cruises.

I took a cruise on points earlier this year.

I am booked for Alaska 2012, and decided to rent my points to pay cash. It is a better savings this way. However, I will NEVER do it again. I can't tell you how much time I have spent on renting out/transferring points. I will "waste" my points on a cruise vs. rent them out in the future.
