DVC points and the Dining Plan

I just want to make sure that everything is going to be ok for us concerning the DDP. We rented DVC points and the DVC points owner fixed it so that we can get the DDP when we get there. I'm a little concerned that there will be a problem, though. Twice I've called for ADR's and they've told me that I have to purchase the DDP 72 hours before arriving. I can't do that. I know the total that I have to pay when I check in, b/c the dvc ponts owner reserved that for me too. I will be able to purchase the DDP, right?!?!?

Why not just ask the person you rented points from?

With a DVC reservation, there is no way to pay for it in advance. It can only be paid at checkin and for that matter must be paid then.

However, it has to be added to the reservation 48 hours ahead. I guess this is one of those moments with a rental agreement that you have to trust the person from whom you rented.

The CMs that you spoke to at DRC probably aren't familiar with the DVC arrangements. When asked if you will be on the plan, just reply yes and don't volunteer any additional details.
