Agreed! Thanks Caskbill.. no longer will I have to manually add up days, especially when they cross into different seasons. Great job!

Thanks Bill,
An outstanding program and an excellent tutorial. Retired from a career in the computer systems business, I can appreciate the hard work and skills required to create this program.

Installed program over previous one. Must of made some sort of mistake. I was surprised as the new one installed it keep saying something like "do you want to install this over the one you already have which is a newer version." As it would go through the install it would stop at about three spots and give the same message which I found surprising since I was trying to install the newer one.

Any way when running the program it still say's version 1.01

Probably the best thing to do is to go to the control panel and uninstall the earlier version and start from the beginning?

What do you guys think?

Wow, wow, wow!!!! This is awesome.

I haven't had any type of DVC 'planner' on our new computer because we had trouble with the one on our old computer (I have no idea who developed that one, but it was from several years ago --- the problem was probably our old computer). I decided to take a chance and download this one, based on everyone's favorable comments. It downloaded (DSL) and installed in less than 2 minutes. The tutorial has to be one of the best I've EVER seen. This is a fantastic 'labor of love'! Just showed DH and he's in awe. Can't wait for you to finish the rest of your program.

Many, many, many thanks!

My computer skills are rather limited but your program tutorial made it a snap. I have just printed my first DVC vacation plan with very little effort. Great job!

What can I say! This is a fantastic program....Thank you, Thank you and Thank you! It is so easy to operate and all I have to say is you are a genius.

Chris, and anyone else who might see this, this might happen if somehow the date/time stamp of the original program files are being misread by the installation process.

Do the following:
1. Uninstall the program if an uninstall (control panel) is available.
2. Delete folder C:\DVCPlan and all it's files
3. Delete folder C:\DVCPlan_Setup and all it's files
Re-run DVCPlanZIP.exe

You may still get the message about older files for your system because most of those are shared files. Always say No to not overwrite these files. You can safely say Yes to overwrite any files going into folder C:\DVCPlan.

I'll add this to my FAQ's page.

Thank you so much. I have just had great fun trying all the different options. :) This will make trip planning so easy.

Thanks for all your hard work and for sharing it with us.

Wow! How cool. I thought version 1.0 was great; this is awesome. I can hardly wait for 2.0. You done good, Bill. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you for your hard work. First rate program. It is one of three that I have and I use them all.

Hey Bill thanks for the program. As a fellow programmer I really like what you have done with the VB Code ;)

What a great program! I hadn't 'unzipped' it after downloading it a week or so ago. I did this morning and was amazed.

Great job on this program and thanks for sharing it!

Some day I'll actually be able to use it for myself :p

Bill,

I finally downloaded and am starting to use the program. It is great. Thank you so much.

Any plans to add the Disney Collection?

Bill,

What development environment did you use for this? It looks like VB 6.0 (possibly 5.0), but I was just curious.

Had a question....I'd like to 'burn' the "DVC Theme Song" that plays periodically on this program onto a CD...how can I go about doing that?

By the way, I know how to burn a CD, just wondering how I can actually 'capture' the file.

Plus, I had to 'bump' this thread again because everyone should have this program :p
