I know January 2006 is supposed to be members month at the Disneyland resort hotels. You receive something upon check in that details this. Tehy say it is member appreciation month. We check in to the DH on Friday. Any idea of what this might be?

This is what the Members' Website says about DL perks in January:

Special limited-time perks at the Disneyland® Resort

From enhanced merchandise, dining and ticket discounts to preferred attraction access, Members will enjoy a variety of special perks in January 2006 as part of Member Month at the Disneyland Resort. Members who check-in at any Disneyland Resort hotel during this special month will receive a coupon booklet packed with special offers.

Examples include a discounted Park Hopper® Ticket (as many as five days of park hopping at a special rate of $119 for each adult or $99 for each child ages 3-9), a free "50th anniversary" dessert plate with a purchase at participating restaurants, a 10 percent discount off purchases of $50 or more at participating merchandise shops and preferred access to the ASIMO show inside the Innoventions attraction at Disneyland Park and the Turtle Talk with Crush show (inspired by Walt Disney Pictures' presentation of the Pixar Animation Studios film Finding Nemo) at Disney's California Adventure™ Park.

Best wishes -

We stayed overnight on the 13th so we got these benefits. Be sure to ask at check in as they may forget to give you the coupon book.

Discounted Park Hopper® Ticket (as many as five days of park hopping at a special rate of $119 for each adult or $99 for each child ages 3-9)--This is a length of stay ticket, so it depends on how long you are there. It didn't work for us because we were only there one night.

Free "50th anniversary" dessert plate with a purchase at participating restaurants (the sit down more expensive ones)--we got one of these on the 14th with our meal at the Blue Bayou. There are 6 limited designs, and they are shown on the coupon. One of them has the castle on it, so we asked our server if we could get that one and we did. It came packaged nicely in a box and traveled home well.

10 percent discount off purchases of $50 or more at participating merchandise shops.

Preferred access to the ASIMO show inside the Innoventions attraction at Disneyland Park--it wasn't crowded, so this coupon didn't really serve a purpose.

Preferred access to the Turtle Talk with Crush show (inspired by Walt Disney Pictures' presentation of the Pixar Animation Studios film Finding Nemo) at Disney's California Adventure™ Park--they let us in before everyone else, however there really aren't bad seats here.

There was also a coupon for a discount at Build-a-Bear and at Illuminations at Downtown Disney.

I am looking forward to the dessert plate, we are also dining at the Blue Bayou Friday for lunch. I all my 100+ times to DL I have never been there!
Build a Bear will interest the kids and the priority seating will be nice too!
Thank you for posting. I searched the DVC site and couldn't find out any details. I will make sure to ask for the coupons upon checkin Friday AM and use whatever we can.

Thank you again.
