DVC perk - Laugh Floor Comedy Club?

OK, I'm confused. I recall in a prior DVC email that Jan 19-21 would be a DVC member sneak peak at the new Laugh Floor Comedy Club.

Today I got a new email from 'Roz' that there is a change in the preview dates (not announced).

So, does anyone know the real story? I'm arriving Jan. 21 and was so looking forward to seeing it!

Yes, the story is this: there were some tech previews done within the last few weeks (with live audiences) and the imagineers, etc. were all on hand with surveys for those in attendance. There were several tech issues, but mostly it seems that they need to re-work the script(s) to make the jokes funnier to a wider audience level. There is more info. available on allearsnet.

Once the kinks get worked out, it sounds like it will be awesome. If you like Turtle Talk with Crush (our family favorite, hands down) you will like this show as well.

Don't lose faith. When I went to Epcot in October I wasn't expecting to see the brand new Nemo ride, yet it was open when I was there - despite everything that I read indicating the the sneak previews were for previous dates in October. So I guess you can never tell when they will have it ready.
I hope its open when you're there.

Dear Disney Vacation Club Member,
There has been a change in the preview dates for the new Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor Comedy Club attraction at the Magic Kingdom® Park in Florida (announced in the December edition of Vacation Magic E-mail Update). It seems the always demanding Roz, pictured above with the one-eyed Mike Wazowski, has requested a bit more paperwork. Disney Vacation Club is in close contact with Monstropolis officials and will share new dates as soon as they're available.

When the new attraction opens officially in Spring 2007, Guests will be treated to an engaging and interactive attraction that lets them laugh, joke and match wits with beloved characters from the hit Disney/Pixar film Monsters, Inc.

Please remember that attraction-preview dates always are subject to change (particularly when the attraction is run by a bunch of monsters), so watch for the latest information online at www.dvcmember.com.
