I have some points I'm looking to rent. I just noticed that David's and ******* increased their payment to $13/$14 points for non-premium/premium resorts, so instead of renting myself, I thought of using one of those. What is people's experience renting through the sites? Does anyone recommend one over another?

We've had good success renting through David's and on Disboards. Both are generally quick but itn our experience, it takes a little more work to do it yourself over David's

Not allowed to solicit points on these boards. You can only respond to a post on the R/T board.

Note: Quote of a post requesting a rental has been removed. - Chuck S

It's interesting that the payment for non-premium resorts went up more than the premium resorts (I think they were $11.30/$13 before this bump). I supposed there is less margin to increase the rental fee on premium resorts before turning potential renters away.

I have used David's and thought they were great. Read his site, it tells you everything you need to know. You do have to have 95 minimum to rent.

I don't know for sure. With their shortage of available points to fill a waiting list of reservations, I think as long as you have enough points to book a reservation for them, they will take whatever you can offer even if less than 95.

I have used David's to rent a few points I had left. It was less than 95, but enough for a reservation at BWV for a day or two. Great experience. Wouldn't hesitate to do it again if needed.

The bump in price is obvious if you have tried to book anything lately. Everything is being booked way in advance and points are at a premium. I prefer using a rental site, much less hassle.
