Above are two contracts of the same resort and use year you desperately want. Both equally stripped or loaded. No dues this year. Same broker and costs. The prices are absolutely firm. Completely equivalent except the 103 pt. contract is a slightly better deal.

Pick your contract. Tell us why you picked it.

Extra Credit: Is there a price threshold that would change your mind?

Edit: I changed the title from OCD to OCPD, which is probably more accurate.

For myself, I picked 103, because I often just find myself a point or two shy of some reservation. So, I'd opt for the 103 probably even if it was the same deal. Better deal just icing on the cake.

I would take the 103 points but there are a lot of people that want nice round numbers on their contracts.

103...only because 3 is one of my OCD numbers. When I fly I sit in row 3 or 7, or 11. So, if it had been 105? I would have had to choose 100!! LOL

Any amount if It could be to be a fixed guaranteed week !
I guess my answer would be both

That technically earns you membership then! ;)

Forgot to add...participants in this poll will receive a free Mickey Head silhouette picture as a special thank you gift!

103 points of course. There is a belief that DVC does not like to take back odd point contracts. It is much more difficult to resell. Even though they can now change the use year.

My actual DVC contract is 204 points. I have no problem with not having a '0' at the end (especially if it means a better deal).

Those extra points are "lucky" and going to give you the exact thing you need one day. A few extra points. Also money savings, hello!
Plus $103 was not rounding down and that seller has bad juju.

I am 💯 percent confident of my opinionated answer.

We bought a few Direct (total 400pts), then added some Resale contracts (150 & 306 -the 306 points was such a nice contract, i couldn't pass it up). Unfortunately, that put us at 856 pts for about 1.5 years, while i suffered  , searching for a Resale ending in 4pts to round it off (none of the then current Direct Resorts interested us). Thankfully, Riviera started selling, so we were able to buy 304pts, leaving us with a nice round 1060 (we may sell our 60pt BCV).
Lesson learned - it'll cost us more in add-ons if we do an odd number :)

I saw a 40 and a 104 pt BLT contract not too long ago. That would have been perfect!

When you need to borrow 51 points you're gonna wish you had a 103 point contract. :)
