dvc newbie

Well, we did it. We joined dvc!!! And boy are we excited!!! When we went to our dvc meeting in January, I didn't think that I could convince my husband to join. I had gotten info about 6 months before and he couldn't believe that I would even consider it. We took a trip to the World(left the kids at home)and you would have thought that he'd never been before. Although, our previous 2000 trip was with my parents, sister and brother in law and it was my husband's first trip, let's just say, it didn't go good. Kids were cranky and everyone else wanted to go where they liked. My husband did not get to really see anything. This past January we went alone and it was fantastic. I can now call him my DH and he's more crazed than I am and I work for the mouse. Needless to say, I can't wait to book my first dvc vacation.

You'll come to love how having DVC takes the pressure off during the trip. Kids not having a good day at the parks? Just pack them up and take them "home" for a nice swim, then let them chill in the living room with some DVDs and (newly acquired) Disney toys while you and DH relax on the patio with your drinks (martinis and manhattans are our choices!)
