DVD built the bungalows and cabins and attached a high per-night point cost to them. That factored into how many points they could sell at PVB and CCV. The bungalows represent one quarter of all of the points sold at PVB.Can you explain how the bungalows and cabins effect studies? I wanted to buy in for the two bedroom and up villas but they are so much points I decided against it.
They then sold contracts to new members with as little as 100 points. And they kept a points chart at CCV that mimicked the one for BRV. So, it took very little to buy in at CCV and the studios required very few points to book. Hence, a big demand for CCV studios from owners who didn't purchase enough points for larger villas.
So the end result is that you have considerably more points sold at CCV than you have owners who have enough points to book up the cabins. This makes competition for studios at CCV fierce. Oh, and to make it worse, more than half of the CCV studios have walk-in showers instead of tubs (which families with small children tend to prefer).
